At that moment, Hasan’s mother, Hasina Begum, took the boy home and held the pillow in his mouth and father Shamim Mia held his hands and feet. At that time, the younger sister Shila cut Hasan’s penis with a sharp knife and confirmed his death.
The CO also said that 17 days after the incident, police recovered Hasan’s body from a pond near his home in the Nayagaon area near Hosendi Bazar in Hosendi Union of Munshiganj’s Gazaria Upazila on Friday. However, the contradictory statements of the relatives about the discovery of the body so close to the house and the murder were suspicious from the beginning. As the boy was addicted to drugs and had a dispute with a local influential boy, the police took everything into account.
According to information provided by the accused, the police recovered the knife and towel used in the murder.
Munshiganj Circle Additional Police Superintendent Ashfaquzzaman said relatives of the deceased wanted to blame one of the opponents. They have repeatedly tried to confuse the police with false information. However, the police were not confused by his words. A proper investigation has revealed the murder mystery.
The detainees will be sent to court on Sunday, the Additional Superintendent of Police said.
