By virtue of this, it was decided to distribute 20 kg of rice at a rate of 10 Tk per kg per month. The Brahmanbaria municipal authority, through the district councilor, prepared a list of 6,000 poor and low-income people to give OMS rice to 500 people in each of the 12 districts and submitted it to the district food control department.
According to the district food controller’s office, the list of 6,000 poor and low-income people presented in the first phase was verified and selected and the district administration and the district food control department found the names of 91 capable people. and rich, including the leader of the Awami League.
