The 41 passengers will be taken to two designated hotels in Sylhet on a BRTC bus from Osmani International Airport under the management of the administration to keep them in mandatory quarantine.
Meanwhile, crowds were seen at Sylhet Osmani Airport to meet relatives returning to the UK. Family members said they have taken the issue of mandatory quarantine as normal. Akhtar Hossain, who came to meet his brother in the UK, said he would have to stay in quarantine for 14 days after returning home. He will not meet his brother, so he has come to meet him.
According to sources from Osmani International Airport, the Bangladesh Biman flight landed at Sylhet Osmani International Airport with 47 passengers today. At that time, 41 people got off the flight to Sylhet and went to Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka with the remaining 6 people.
