A group of US senators have said they will refuse to declare Joe Biden the winner unless a commission is formed to investigate electoral fraud.

Although the allegations of electoral irregularities are unfounded, the 11 senators, led by Ted Cruz and the senator-elect, want to postpone Biden’s victory for 10 days to investigate.

President Trump said in his tweet that they came forward after learning the truth.

By mentioning that more truth is coming out, Trump said, the country will remember these lawmakers! President Trump still believes the election outcome will change.

However, this initiative of 10 senators is not expected to be successful. Because most senators will recognize Joe Biden as president.

Donald Trump has refused to accept defeat. However, so far it has not been able to provide any evidence of vote rigging.

Ted Cruz and others said in a statement Saturday that they would object to the result of the Electoral College vote in Congress. Results will not be accepted until the 10-day election audit is complete.

In a joint statement, they said Congress would establish an electoral commission to investigate and empower legislators from the disputed states to decide on the electoral vote.
