Rajpara OC Mazharul Islam Police Station said one person was still in critical condition. He is Kalp (22), son of Habib from the Hetamkhan area of the metropolis. He is being treated in ward 18 of the hospital.
The OC said they drank in the Hosniganj area of the metropolis between 9 pm and 10 pm on Friday. Some of them fell ill and were admitted to the hospital. Three of them died during the night.
Another died the following afternoon. The bodies of three of the dead have been subjected to autopsy. An autopsy will also be performed on someone else’s body. He also said that legal action has been taken in this incident.
