The two Mushfiqa sisters and Mobashera’s father, the late Mostafa Jaglul Wahid, who are staying in front of their house in Gulshan, do not match the bank account of Tk 1.5 crore. It has been alleged that Anju Kapoor, the late Jaglul’s second wife, withdrew Tk 14 million from the Citibank branch in Gulshan by hiding the news of her husband’s death. After Mandati’s death, his older sister, Mushfiqa Mostafa, filed a fraud case with the Gulshan Police Station alleging that she had secretly taken money.

The High Court has ordered the two sisters and their second mother, Anju Kapoor, to submit affidavits in support of their property claim. The two sisters came across such an unusual transaction while collecting bank account statements after the Superior Court order.

In the case brief, Plaintiff Mushfiqa Mostafa alleged that my father died on October 10 at Evercare Hospital. Before her father’s death, Anju Kapoor hired an Indian woman from Bangalore, India, as a housekeeper. After the news of my father’s death, I went to the Citibank branch in Gulshan on October 12 with the news of his death. The bank informed me that Anju Kapoor came to the bank on October 11 and took the money. The banking authorities are not aware of the father’s death.

On November 3, the High Court ordered the court to submit affidavits in support of the property claims of Anju Kapoor, the two sisters, and their father’s second wife. He also ordered that all transactions in Mostafa Jaglul Wahid’s bank accounts be closed until further notice. At the same time, neither party will be able to remove the belongings from the house in Gulshan (No. 2-95) and the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Gulshan Police Station was ordered to keep the two sisters safe.

Mushfiqa Mostafa told the Bengali Tribune: “Following the High Court order, I collected the statement on December 15 as my father’s Citibank.” When the banking authorities gave me a bank statement, I discovered that between 1 a.m. M. And 4 p.m. On the day after my father’s death, 14 million rupees had been withdrawn from my father’s account by check. When I asked the banking authorities about the withdrawal, they told me that Anju Kapoor had withdrawn the money hiding the news of my father’s death.

Mushfiqa Mostafa said that according to the current law, after the death of my father, his mandati power is no longer valid. So he resorted to deception without informing the bank of my father’s death.

The investigating officer on the case, SI Shamim Hossain, told the Bangla Tribune: “The case is under investigation. I am investigating.” Everything is clear here, there is nothing disoriented. Mostafa Jaglul Wahid died on October 10. Concealing the news of her death, Anju Kapoor withdrew Tk 14 million in cash from City Bank branch 136 on Gulshan Avenue on October 11. Everything can be reported at the end of the investigation.

By the way, after their father’s death last October, the two sisters took a stand in front of house No. 4, Road No. 95, Gulshan 2, in a dispute over ownership. They claim that the house is in the hands of Anju Kapoor, the father’s second wife. It does not allow them to enter the house at all. Subsequently, more than one media story came about the post in front of the house of these two sisters, Justice Md. A virtual court of Nazrul Islam Talukder and Judge Ahmed Sohail instructed them to enter the house and take immediate measures to find out his whereabouts. The Officer-in-Charge (CO) of the Gulshan Police Station was asked to report to the court that evening on the implementation of the directive.
