On December 26, a young man and his girlfriend inadvertently faced such danger by proposing on Falkart Mountain in Carinathia, Austria. Standing in a secluded corner of a high mountain, the young man proposed to his lover amidst natural beauty. The lover’s face was filled with emotion. Danger came when he yelled and agreed.
The girl slipped and fell 650 meters. Her boyfriend also jumped in to save her. However, he got stuck 50 feet off the ground.
The story could have ended with extremely tragic consequences. But luck was on his side. The 32-year-old survived after falling on an ice mat.
Local police said they could have died had it not been for the snow. The young man was rescued from the scene by helicopter.
