Rizvi survived the accident for a short time

BNP Deputy Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has been spared from a serious accident for a while. On his way to Jessore Airport from Satkhira to Dhaka, he was involved in a traffic accident in Kalaroa Bazar.

When the vehicle carrying Rizvi arrived at Kalaroa Bazar on the Kalaroa-Jessore highway at around 3.15pm on Thursday, a Nasimon van lost control and crashed into the front of the vehicle.

The glass of the private car was broken. The door is damaged. However, Rizvi survived. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and his accompanying BNP publications secretary, Habibul Islam Habib, were slightly injured at the time. Rizvi was injured but not seriously. However, Habib’s body was injured.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on his mobile phone from the scene that the private car that was transporting me had suffered an accident. I was going to Jessore airport from Kalaroa upazila from Satkhira. On the way, a van pulled up in front of a private car. Although the car was damaged at the time, Habib and I, who were in a private car, wanted to survive. Rizvi said, “By the grace of God and the prayers of the people, I am fine.”

It is known that BNP Deputy Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi was scheduled to testify and argue in the case of the attack on the convoy of then-opposition leader and current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Kalaroa, Satkhira. Former student leader Habibul Islam Habib was also charged in the case.
