Moulvibazar: Severe winter is now in the tea capital, Srimangal. Known as the coolest place in the country, winter is in full swing in this city.

Life in the city and the suburbs has been somewhat interrupted by winter in Kankan.

The lowest temperature recorded in the country on Wednesday (December 30) was 8.4 degrees Celsius in Srimangal. Humayun Kabir, a meteorological assistant at the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, confirmed this information to banglanews.

The low temperature in Srimangal and Chuadanga was 7.3 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. According to the Srimangal Meteorological Center, the lowest temperature recorded in Srimangal on December 20 was 6.3 degrees Celsius.

In winter, the intensity of winter is relatively high in Srimangal upazila tea gardens. The relatively lower middle class and fragmented people are suffering with such intensity of freezing. They are trying to prevent the cold by lighting a fire by wrapping themselves in warm clothing, including sheets. However, with the increased heat from the sun, winter feels relatively less.

Meteorological Assistant of the Srimangal Meteorological Office. Jahedul Islam Masum told banglanews that from now on the temperature will start to drop gradually. The operating temperature will drop even further in a few days. Srimangal is currently experiencing moderate cold.
