Vikarunnisa director retired on corruption charges

Professor Fauzia RezwanThe Ministry of Education has removed the head of the Vikarunnisa school and college, Professor Fauzia Rezwan, after proving allegations of wrongdoing and corruption. On Tuesday (December 29), the Ministry’s Department of Secondary and Higher Education withdrew its deputation and appointed OSD (Special Officer in Charge) in the Department of Secondary and Higher Education.
After proving the allegation of irregularities in the appointment of the head of Vikarunnisa Noon School and College, the government appointed Fauzia, head of Sabujbagh College, as head of delegation.
Since his appointment, accusations have been brought against him. He was charged with attempting to appoint an administrative official in violation of the latest government rules.
According to the Ministry of Education, the principal instructed a teacher to manipulate the book in the recruitment test. After the matter was caught in the act, the chairman of the organization’s governing body and the Dhaka Division Commissioner began the investigation. The OSD was held at the Department of Secondary and Higher Education on Tuesday (December 29) after the investigative report was presented to the Ministry of Education.
