Mukta Dhar, who was present at the press conference yesterday, told reporters that a total of nine people were involved in the robbery and murder at Monir’s home. According to CID sources, Mamunur Rashid, 35, from Laxmipur was arrested for the first time on December 16 at one stage of the investigation. Mamun later confessed to the theft during questioning. According to their information, Abul Kalam Azad, Farooq and Ayub, who were involved in the robbery, were arrested in different areas of Chittagong. According to his information, the motorcycle was recovered from Ayub’s house.

According to CID sources, there are four cases of murder and robbery at the Laxmipur police station, two at the Chandraganj police station and three at the Kamalnagar, Sudharam and Langalkot police stations on behalf of Azad.
