Calcutta: Elections to the West Bengal Assembly are imminent. Whether the state will change hands in the middle of next year, or whether the current ruling party will be able to stay in power for the third time, is a matter of daily concern among the people of the state.

Meanwhile, Indian Interior Minister Amit Shah has claimed that the BJP will come to power with more than 200 seats in West Bengal. In addition, he has made it clear that the Chief Minister of the state will be the one who is the son of the land of this state.

Only time will tell if such rumors are indicative of Dada, namely Sourav Ganguly. However, the grandfather did not say a word about it. However, on Sunday (December 26), Saurabh met with Governor Jagdeep Dhankar at Raj Bhavan. And even though a courtesy call was called, the meeting lasted two hours.

Sourav left the palace yesterday and said, don’t think about anything fictitious. It’s just a courtesy call. The governor never saw the Garden of Eden. So I invited him to visit Eden. On the other hand, he didn’t come to my palace after taking over. So this meeting.

However, BCCI President Sourav left for Delhi on Monday (December 26) after meeting with the governor yesterday. There Feroz Shah Kotla attended a function. Amit Shah was present on that stage again. Several speculations have already started in the political sphere around this meeting.

The statue was unveiled at Feroze Shah Kotla this afternoon on the seventh anniversary of the birth of the late former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in Delhi. He was president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) from 1999 to 2013. His son Rohan Jaitley is currently in charge there.

Amit Shah unveiled the statue of the former minister and president. Union Minister of Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of Sports Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of Finance Anurag Tagore, BCCI Secretary Joy Shah, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and BJP MP and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir were present on the occasion. But now Saurabh is at the center of all these events.

Before taking the plane that day, Saurabh said in a meeting with Amit Shah at Kolkata airport, nothing will be said. “There is no reason to speculate,” he said. “Can’t I see anyone?”

Although Saurabh tried to add fuel to political speculation, State President Dilip Ghosh made suggestive comments about Dada’s joining the BJP. In his words, I don’t know anything about it. He is our honorable man. We had a captain. Good people are called in at BJP. Successful people like Sourav should go into politics.

Also in this context, the level of speculation surrounding the statements of Dilip Ghosh and the Saurabh-Shah meeting has increased several times. But Sourav is a man with whom all the political parties in the state have a very good relationship.
