The United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia have been working together to assassinate Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s secretary general in Lebanon. Nasrullah himself has given this information.
He said in an interview with the Al-Mayadeen television channel on Sunday night that several sources had warned of a plot to assassinate him. The Hezbollah leader said that Washington, Tel Aviv and Riyadh had been trying to assassinate the commander of Iran’s Quds Force, Lieutenant General Qasim Solaimani, before they killed him.
“Donald Trump wanted to use the issue in his election campaign by killing me,” said Sayyid Nasrallah, who said the assassination attempt escalated before the recent US presidential election.
Hezbollah’s secretary general said that even Saudi Crown Prince bin Salman had visited the United States and asked US officials to carry out the killings, even if it was in his interest.
He said that the plot to assassinate the Iranian-led anti-Israel resistance in the Middle East and its leaders and commanders would continue indefinitely. But the resistance movement could not be suppressed by perpetrating such murders in the past as it will not be in the future.
