A teenage girl was gang-raped when she was going to act in a tic-tac video from Tongi to Dhaka. Tongi East police arrested two teenagers Saturday afternoon on charges of rape.
Those arrested are Shishir Hossain, 18, the son of Mofazzal Bepari from Sarat Gupta Road of Gandaria Police Station, and Junaid Islam Fahim, 18, son of Anwar Hossain Akash from Distillery Road.
They featured a video of the Dattapara 7th grader from the Tongi East Police Station on a messenger. Later, he was taken to an apartment in the Madhubag area of the Hatirjheel Police Station and detained for three days. Later, the GMP Tongi East Thana Police, in collaboration with the DMP Hatirjheel Thana Police, rescued the girl on Friday night and admitted her to the OCC of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
According to the Tongi East Police Station, the victim is a seventh grade student from the Tongi Republic Kindergarten School. I used to make tic-tac videos. He befriended some of the teens who made ticks in different districts of the country on Facebook. Later, when she opened a courier group and offered to make a ticket with her friends from different places, the girl told her family to go to her grandfather’s house and disappeared from their home in Dattapara on Wednesday afternoon . On Thursday, the girl’s mother filed a general diary at the Tongi East Police Station. Later on Friday, police rescued the girl from the Hatirjheel area of the capital.
Confirming the incident, the Officer-in-Charge (CO) of the Tongi East Police Station, Aminul Islam, said that one case had been recorded in the incident. Two defendants were arrested on Saturday. Attempts are being made to arrest the other defendants. Teens and defendants used to make tic-tac videos.
