But at five overs into our bowling start, I’ll say the ball came in all of a sudden. I said, think about it. The legs are still swollen. The stubborn Siraj landed on the field. Today’s Siraj is the result of the poor father’s tireless work. His first lime light came in 2016. He became a millionaire overnight at the IPL auction. Sunrise Hyderabad bought Siraj for Rs 28 million. Despite getting so much star fame, Siraj could not forget the days of old difficulties.
Recalling that memory, Siraj then said: ‘My father used to give me 80 rupees a day for hand expenses. So that he can practice and play games with him. This meant a lot to me for what he won. I used to spend those Rs 70-80 to buy gasoline for a scooter. Because that was enough for me. I knew where it came from. ‘
But for those who have done so much, the father is now in the land of no return. Siraj was with the Indian team in Australia last November. He receives the news of the father’s death at the end of the team’s practice. The Indian junta offered him to return to the country and support his family in this situation. But Siraj disagreed with that proposal. Father Mohammed Ghaus has struggled his entire life to earn money just to see his son in the country’s jersey. Keeping in mind his father’s dream, Siraj informed him not to return to the country.
