Dhaka: A court sent two people, including the director of the film ‘Nawab LLB’, to jail on charges of indecent dialogue with the police.
On Friday (December 25), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Moinul Islam ordered that they be sent to jail.
The two are the film’s director Ananya Mamun and actor Shahin Mridha.
On the same day, the investigator in the case, DB Police Inspector Abul Kalam Azad, presented the two defendants in court and asked them to be kept in jail. Following the request, the court ordered that they be sent to jail.
They were arrested Thursday on charges of indecent dialogue with the police in the film ‘Nawab LLB’. Later, DB Police Inspector Kazi said. Nasirul Mamun brought the case to the Ramna Police Station under the Pornography Act. They were sent to court on Friday after the case was dropped.
After seven long years, Shakib and Mahi have appeared on screen in the movie ‘Nawab LLB’. Archita Sperchia has played an important role in this. The script and story of the film are written by director Ananya Mamun. The film is produced by Celebrity Productions.
