Sylhet: The expat-dominated Sylhet is in a panic over the spread of the corona virus in a terrible new way in London. Of these, 165 passengers have returned to Sylhet from London.

On Thursday (December 24) morning, 165 passengers landed at Osmani Airport in Sylhet on Bangladesh Biman Flight BG 202.

Airport manager Hafiz Ahmed told banglanews that after the passengers arrived at the lounge, a team from the health department examined the holders of the negative certificate from the coroner and released them. If the corona test papers of 6 of them are in doubt, it is decided to quarantine them. Later, with the help of information technology, they were released as they were able to provide evidence.

Sylhet Civil Surgeon said. Premananda Mandal told banglanews that a special team is working at Sylhet Osmani airport for a medical check-up. They are checking passengers for coronary artery disease. It was decided to quarantine 6 London passengers as they did not have a negative crown certificate, but they were released because they could provide evidence. They have also been asked to remain in home quarantine for 7 days.

Despite the spread of the Corona in London, 202 passengers boarded Bangladesh Biman’s BG 202 on Wednesday (December 23). Of these, 175 passengers landed at Sylhet Osmani Airport on Thursday (December 24). The remaining 36 passengers flew on BG 2020 and the other passengers were flown back to Dhaka on the same plane.
