Memorandum from Chhatra Dal to the Vice Chancellor of DU demanding to open the room and take the test

The nationalist Chhatra Dal has called the decision to close the residence hall and regard Dhaka University undergraduate and graduate students as “extremely reckless, reckless and one-sided”. They have delivered a memorandum to the rector of the university demanding that the residential room be opened in compliance with hygiene standards before taking the exam.

According to the memorandum, the students applauded the decision of the Dhaka University Academic Council to take the undergraduate and graduate final year exams starting on December 26, taking into account the session jam and the BCS 43 exam. But ignoring the opinions and requests of the general students of Dhaka University and all the student organizations working on campus, without making any arrangements for the accommodation of the examinees, the decision to take the exams while keeping the dormitories closed is considered extremely reckless, reckless and one-sided.

In the memo, the student group further said that after the crown outbreak has slowed somewhat since June, all markets, offices, courts, businesses and commerce in the country were opened. But every institution of higher education in the country, including the University of Dhaka, has been closed day after day for unknown reasons. Chhatra Dal has been drawing the attention of the university administration for a long time to open the campus in accordance with health regulations.
