Falguni Das Tanvi, former Deputy Secretary (AGS) of the Rokeya Hall Student Parliament of Dhaka University, was allegedly beaten late at night. Tanbir alleged that BCL Joint Secretary General Benazir Hossain Nishi and Shamsun Nahar Hall, BCL Secretary General Jasmine Shanta beat him in front of the DU Bangabandhu tower around 12:30 pm on Monday.
Tanvi Rokeya is the former deputy general secretary (AGS) of the expired committee of the student parliament and the deputy general secretary of the ward branch of the student league. He told Jugantar that BCL Deputy General Secretary Benazir Hossain Nishi and Shamsun Nahar Hall General Secretary Jasmine Shanta called me around 12pm on Monday and asked me to go to the University Law School. from Dhaka.
When I arrived by phone, they questioned me about various things. At one point, when they tried to kill me, I ran away. Then they chased me and caught me in front of the Bangabandhu Tower. At that time they kept hitting me one after another. At that moment two young men who were with them surrounded me.
At one point in the beating, when I fell to the ground, Shanta pressed hard on my legs and Nishi randomly kicked me with one foot. They put it around my neck. In a moment, blood came out of my throat.

So the university proctorial team and the police in charge came forward to rescue me. I take first aid. So far I can’t eat anything hard, it hurts. I fell on the road and injured my hands, legs and head.
Tanvir alleged that two BCL leaders beat him with the intention of killing him. Tanvi said that he had reported the matter to senior leaders. If the leaders don’t act, he will take legal action.
