To encourage future architects, KSRM and IAB, one of the largest steel companies in the country, jointly organized the competition for the second time under the title of Future Architects Award. On this occasion, last Sunday (December 20), the names of the winners of the online contest were announced and an exhibition was organized. The elegant exhibition will be held via a virtual online gallery for 7 days from December 20 to 26. The entrepreneurs launched the award titled ‘KSRM Awards for Future Architects: Best Undergraduate Thesis’ to encourage young architects.
IAB President Architect Jalal Ahmed and KSRM Director Brigadier General Mohammad launched the online exhibition. Shahidur Rahman, NDC, PSC (Ret.). A total of 30 projects are exhibited in the exhibition, with the top three final year students from the Department of Architecture of one of the 11 educational institutions in the country, including the IAB.
The architect Harun-ur-Rashid, the architect Jalal Ahmed, Dr. were part of the jury in the selection of the project. Nasrin Hossain, architect Ashiq Bhaskar Mannan, architect Rashed Hasan Chowdhury. The jury named three of the 30 projects as best and two projects as especially acclaimed.
