Two brothers were watching television in their mother’s room at home. Brother will see the cartoon. The sister says that Star Jalsa will see it. There was a fight between the two with the remote control. Finally, the sister committed suicide by wrapping a scarf around her neck against the wall of the house.
The tragic incident took place on Monday night in the Dighirpar area of Raipur Bamni UP in Laxmipur.
The deceased was identified as Jannat Akhter Prima, 9 years old, daughter of Shipon from the same area and 4th grade student at Dighirpar Alim Madrasa.
Relatives said the younger brother was watching cartoons on television with the remote control. Right now, older sister Prima wants a remote control from her brother to watch Star Jalsa. There was a fight between the two. At one point, the younger brother slapped the older sister Primer on the cheek. Enraged by this, Prima went to her room and committed suicide by wrapping a handkerchief around her neck.
After a while, seeing the older sister hanging by the veil through the window, the younger brother screamed. Her mother ran out of the kitchen, knocked down the door, rescued Prima and took her to Raipur Hospital, where the doctors pronounced her dead.
Sahabuddin, a member of Bamni UP, admitted the truth and said the incident was tragic. We are also in mourning with the family.
Raipur Police Station OC Abdul Jalil said the body of the deceased child was recovered and sent to Sadar Hospital for autopsy. A case of UD has been registered in this regard.
