Flights to 10 countries with the UK canceled

European countries have started imposing travel bans on the UK after a coronavirus of a different nature spread in Britain.

Meanwhile, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium have canceled flights to the UK on several occasions.

Austria, Bulgaria, Switzerland and Turkey have also announced the closure of flights.

The new coronavirus is spreading rapidly in London and south-east England, according to British health officials. Amid great concern, a sudden lockdown was imposed on London and much of south-east England on Saturday.

Hours after the announcement, the Netherlands suspended flights to the UK until January 1. The river passengers were also banned from entering. However, the cargo can be transported or by aviation.

France, however, has announced a 48-hour closure of all land and air transport. Thousands of trucks circulate between the two countries every day.

Italy has announced that all flights to the UK will be closed until January 8. A new type of coronavirus has been identified in the UK.

Ireland has a significant number of passengers traveling with the UK at this time of year. However, the Irish government has announced that flights from England, Wallace and Scotland will be banned for 48 hours starting at midnight.

“In the interest of public health, the people of Great Britain should not travel to Ireland by air or sea,” they said.

Austria has announced a ban on several flights from the UK. Bulgaria has suspended all flights to and from the UK as of midnight. However, unlike the short-term measures of other countries, its ban has been extended until January 31.

Like Switzerland, Turkey has temporarily canceled all flights to the UK.
