A car bomb explosion near the Afghan capital, Kabul, killed at least six people and injured more than 15. The attacker struck shortly after noon in front of a gathering of Afghan lawmakers.
A spokesman for the Interior Ministry, Tariq Arian, was quoted by AFP as saying that the terrorists had carried out an attack in Kabul that had sadly killed eight people and injured more than 15. However, Mohammad Wardak survived the attack.
What he meant by “car bomb” is unknown at this time. No group has taken responsibility for the attack.

There have been several bombings in Afghanistan in recent weeks. The attacks come amid ongoing peace talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban.
There were reports of bombings in various other parts of Afghanistan on Sunday. These are Logar, Nangarhar, Helmand, and Badakhshan. Several civilians and members of the security forces were killed and injured.
