The newlyweds have separated in a fight to share gifts during the bride’s farewell. The incident took place in Bagmara, Rajshahi, on the night of Friday (December 16).

On Friday afternoon, Mohsin Ali, 26, from Gangopara village in Telipukur of upazila, married Jasmine Akter, 23, from Ismailpur village in upazila. Nikkas Ali, the marriage registrar, registered the marriage with a one lakh rupee stamp. The bride and groom were separated again in the evening.

According to the locals, the distribution of gifts at the time of the bride’s departure was the first problem. Later, a fight broke out between the two sides. The matter was taken to the police station at night.

Kanepaksha alleges that Barapaksha has gone too far with the gifts. They wanted the world to be. But it didn’t happen for the favors.

However, they declined to comment when contacted about the allegations.

When asked, Bagmara Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Afzal Hossain said: However, no one has complained about this. The police will take legal action if a complaint is received.
