A sick housewife has been admitted to Bagha Hospital, Rajshahi, after smoking a cigarette given to her by her husband. The incident took place in the Khayerhat village of upazila on Thursday night (December 16).

Subarna said Jewel tortured her by holding a cigarette fire over her pajamas. Not only this time, he has been tortured since his marriage. The child has also been ruined by being tortured during pregnancy. He also said that the daughter of a poor family has suffered torture and has started a family.
Defendant Jewel Rana admitted to having multiple marriages but denied allegations of torture for smoking cigarettes. “I have been falsely accused of cheating,” he said. After marriage, you want to follow your own wishes without following my instructions. This leads to fights in the world. But the root of the discomfort is the mother of my wife Subarna.
Deputy Inspector (SI) Shah Alam, an officer on duty at Bagha Police Station, said Subarna had filed a complaint on Friday (December 18).
