In Banshkhali of Chittagong, 27 houses have been burned. The incident took place in Gandamara Union’s East Baraghona Jaldaspara in upazila around 8pm on Thursday. At least 10 people were injured in the fire.

After receiving the news, Chambal went to the Bangla Bazar Bridge, but the firefighters could not reach the scene because the communication system was not good.
Anwar Badshah, a member of the Gandamara Union Parishad (UP) District 9, said the fire caused by an electrical short circuit burned 27 houses in Jaldaspara. Ten people were injured when the fire was extinguished.
Momena Akhter, an official from Banshkhali Upazila Nirbahi (UN), said that food and shelter were being provided to people affected by the fire.
