Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nur Taposh, Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation, warned not to be a weak brother. DSCC Mayor Sheikh Taposh has issued this warning against the vandalism of the sculpture of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the instigators of this vandalism.

He gave this warning message against the conspirators in his speech at the 49th Victory Day discussion meeting hosted by Dhaka South City Corporation at Nagar Bhaban’s Hanif Greater Auditorium on Wednesday afternoon.

DSCC Mayor Sheikh Taposh said peace-loving Bengalis have become armed forces in a speech on March 7, guerrilla warfare. We are waging a guerrilla war, on the battlefield. Freedom fighters are organizing, training and fighting on the battlefield. So don’t call us weak brothers. Callo, I hold on. Only in the greater interest of the country, in the interest of the constitution, in the interest of democracy.

Regarding the demolition of the sculpture of the Father of the Bangabandhu Nation, the mayor of DSCC, lawyer Sheikh Taposh, said, “I asked you, are you breaking the sculpture, why are you breaking it, brother?” Says Islam. Hey brother, is Islam only yours? Are you muslim alone? You’ve been circumcised alone, haven’t I? Hey, your father beat you and sent you to the madrasa and I’m learning Boisa Alif, o, ta, chha, gym, ha at home. Boila forces you to learn. And I am learning voluntarily.

So where are you from a Muslim bigger than me? I am learning three languages: Bengali, English, Arabic, on a voluntary basis. You learn by eating pithan. So how did you become a great Muslim? They speak of Islam in words. Hey, do an akaam and then come with Hadith and Qur’an. Do you read Hadith and the Quran alone? Or you are memorizing some verses. And I’m also reading the Qur’an Sharif a few times: finishing the recitation, finishing the meaning, finishing the translation. Yes, I did not memorize. You are memorizing, you have been beaten and memorized.

Where will I stay, where will I stay, where will I stay like a parrot. If not, I’ll hit you with a cane, lift your ears. That’s why you memorize, and I didn’t memorize everything in the world like you. By this memorization, by reading, you will become a bigger Muslim than I am, you will become a scholar, is that it? Two spiritual men from my family stepped on this land.

He came to this land for Islam, for the spread of Islam. My great-grandfather is the holy Sheikh Abdul Awal. He left his life for Islam. Sheikh Borhan Uddin, was a learned scholar, one of the renowned scholars of the spirit world in the Faridpur area. And if Bangabandhu, the father of the nation, had no divine power, he could not have given the nation freedom. And by memorizing two verses, you have become a great scholar! Break the sculpture of Bangabandhu?

Addressing the conspirators and instigators of the conspiracy at the time, DSCC Mayor Attorney Sheikh Taposh said: “Two children of goats eat mother’s milk and three children do not understand.” What a civil war! Hey, you’re a reform guy, you’re a civil war! Will there be a civil war in your words? Do you think Sheikh Hasina is weak? Hey, Sangram Koira Koira has been bringing this place to this part of the country since 1971.

How many things happened Militancy has been created, militancy has been eliminated, there is no militancy on the soil of Bangladesh. After 40 years, Tina Nia Aisa of war criminals has been hanged, her name is Sheikh Hasina. You can’t take your eyes out yet, don’t say a word about your leader. And you show me the fear of civil war? Do we wear bracelets or not? If Sheikh Hasina wants it, it won’t take him 7 days, no matter how much he talks. Sheikh Hasina observes democracy to defend the constitution. So everyone is digesting, enduring. Because she is the daughter of the father of the nation. He did not go beyond the constitution and democracy, he himself spent nine months in jail, just to restore democracy.

DSCC Mayor Attorney Sheikh Taposh further said at the time: “He did it on August 21.” The next day I was thinking: you will go on foot, Sheikh Hasina did not allow you to use it. Stay 2008 will come, 2008 will come. This is Sheikh Hasina. You have no intellect at all. Keep flying like kid number three. Try to understand Sheikh Hasina, exercise your intellect, exercise your intellect. If the revelation is sent from that London, there is no intellect. And tell us about the civil war!

Mentioning that we are proud to build the Padma Bridge with our own funds, DSCC Mayor Attorney Sheikh Taposh said: “Bangabandhu said, I have liberated the Bengali nation not to enslave it.” Today we are not anyone’s slaves. Made with your own money. Whether it costs 6 thousand crore rupees, 22 thousand crore rupees, one lakh crore rupees, we will give it with our own money. We have to get to the place of pride, that we can.

And the daughter of Awami League president Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina, said the country was not liberated in exchange for the blood of three million martyrs to survive as a nation of beggars. The people of this country will live with their heads held high throughout the world.
