An indictment has been brought against the Jessore branch of Manirampur Sonali Bank Limited for raising the national flag with a broomstick. On Wednesday (December 16) morning, a photo of Erm went viral on Facebook. I have spoken with the DGM of the bank. I have asked you to take action against the Manirampur branch manager immediately.
When asked about this, Sonali Bank Limited’s Deputy General Manager for the Jessore region, Shafiqul Islam, said: ‘The local UN informed me about the matter by phone. Action will be taken after the investigation.
Manirampur OC Police Station (Investigation) Sikder Matiar Rahman said: “When we left, the flag pedestal had been changed.”
