Those arrested are Safatuzzaman Russell, 30, son of Rafiq Uddin from Dehati Fakirpara in Jivannagar upazila, Rocky, 23, son of Jahangir Shah, Hridoy, 22, son of the late Akhtaruzzaman Bachchu, and Mahfuz Ahmed Akash, 19, son of Mofizul Shah.

Police Superintendent Zahidul Islam told a news conference at the district superintendent’s office facility Tuesday afternoon that Russell had planned to rob the bank in search of the loan.
