It has been alleged that the girl was lured to the hotel and raped.
The girl was rescued from the Garden City Hotel on Station Road of the Kotwali Police Station on Sunday night.
Khalilur Rahman Khalil, 40, and hotel manager Abdul Ahad, 45, were arrested in the incident. Khalil is a street vendor of seeds in the city. His home is in Sherpur Sadar upazila.
Kotwali OC Mohammad Mohsin Police Station told bdnews24.com: Khalil and the girl were seen in a hotel room and questioned. At that time, the girl complained that Khalil took her to the hotel and raped her, telling her to give her rice.
After taking the girl to the police station, the police informed her relatives.
OC Mohsin said his father came and filed a case against the two.
The girl’s father said she left the house Sunday night after her mother scold her.
The OC said Khalil found the girl on the street around 11 p.m. Sunday and took her to a hotel to feed and house her.
The girl was sent to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital Comprehensive Crisis Center (OCC).
