Dhaka: Janaza de Allama Noor Hossain Qasemi, Secretary General of Hefazat-e-Islami and Managing Director of Jamia Madania Baridhara Madrasa has been completed.
The janaza was held at 9:15 am on Monday (December 14) at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
Mufti Jaber Qasemi, the youngest son of Allama Qasemi, led his father’s janaza.
Before the janaza, on behalf of the family, Kasemi’s younger brother Maulana Abdul Quddus asked everyone to pray for his older brother and said that the nation has lost one of its good sons today. You will all pray for the forgiveness of his soul.
Allama Junaid Babungari, Emir of Hefazat-e-Islam, said: “I had a heart-to-heart relationship with Allama Qasemi. It is impossible to say how much we lost by losing it. At that moment he burst into tears.
He said that Allama Qasemi was the central naib emir of Hefazat-e-Islam, the country’s largest non-political organization, and president of the Dhaka metropolis. Later he was elected secretary general. He did not commit to Batel. He feared no threat. We will learn from him inshallah.
Mufti Maulana Shafiq Ahmed Qasemi, Director General of Babungari Madrasa Muhibullah Babungari, Mufti Dilawar Hussain, Naib Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Professor Mojibur Rahman, President of the Labor Party Dr. Mostafizur Rahman Iran, Secretary General Lawyer Faruk Khilafat, Secretary General of the Majlis. Thousands of people, including Ahmad Abdul Quader, Maulana Mamunul Haque, Manjurul Islam Afendi, Maulana Junaid Al Habib, Mufti Habibullah Mahmud Qasemi, Khaled Saifullah Ayubi and other leading scholars from the country participated in the janaza.
After the janaza, his body was taken to Jamia Subhania Mahmudnagar, Dhur, Madrasa established by Allama Qasemi. There he will be buried in the family cemetery.
Earlier on Sunday (December 13) at 12:50 p.m., Allama Noor Hossain Qasemi died at United Hospital in Gulshan.
