New Zealand won the Wellington Test against the West Indies by one inning and 12 runs.
This is the first time the Kiwis have beaten the Caribbeans by one inning in two consecutive rounds. In the previous test, they won by one inning and 134 runs.
The two-game winning streak between the two countries was the only one before. In 1958, the West Indies won on New Zealand soil.
