New Zealand won the Wellington Test against the West Indies by one inning and 12 runs.

This is the first time the Kiwis have beaten the Caribbeans by one inning in two consecutive rounds. In the previous test, they won by one inning and 134 runs.

The two-game winning streak between the two countries was the only one before. In 1958, the West Indies won on New Zealand soil.

Although on the country’s soil, the achievement of kiwis is increasing elsewhere. In both events, they won the innings hitting first after missing the pitch on grassy grounds.

In addition, for the first time, New Zealand were undefeated in 15 consecutive home events. The last time they lost was in March 2016, in Wellington, South Africa.

With a total of 120 series points, the Kiwis have increased their chances of reaching the final of the ICC Test Championship.

The West Indies’ chances of a fight on the fourth day of Monday’s game at the Basin Reserve had a drawback in the morning. Jason Holder was released by scoring 1 run out of 60 runs the day before in a big Tim Southee delivery.

The anointed Joshua continued to fight, leaving an impression of strength. This goalie-hitter tests the first fifty. Aljari Joseph provided some entertainment by scoring 24 runs of 12 balls in 3 fours and 2 sixes.

But follow-up has not been avoided. Saudi and Neil Wagner shared the last 4 wickets.

Henry Nichols was man of the match, playing the best inning of his career with 164 runs. Kyle Jamieson, who took 11 wickets in two Trials and made a big fifty in the first Test, became the best of the series after playing only the second series.
