Students studying in the last semester must have priority to take the exam. Practical classes can also be completed in accordance with hygiene regulations. However, university residences cannot be opened in Korona as educational institutions are closed under the direction of the government.
The vice chancellors informed the meeting that online teaching continues in the Corona situation. The unfinished semester is in its final stages. Students are frustrated because there are no tests. They are parting ways with educational activities next semester. Online education activities will fall on deaf ears if there is no test or evaluation. It is in the national interest to take the test.
The vice chancellors asked the UGC to send a letter to the Public Service Commission (PSC) to extend the application time for the recently announced BCS exam.
UGC President Prof. Kazi Shahidullah said that the final decision on conducting the exam will be made by the Committee of Deans of Public Universities, the Academic Council and other relevant committees.
