Dhaka: Hefazat-e-Islam secretary general, Allama Noor Hossain Qasemi, no longer exists (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilahi Raziun).

Nur Hossain Qasemi has been the Dhaka Metropolitan President of the organization since its inception. A new committee was formed on November 15 after the death of Amir Allama Ahmad Shafi. Allama Babungari was elected Amir and Nur Hossain Qasemi was elected secretary general of the committee.
He is simultaneously Secretary General of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh and Jamiat-e-Ulamaye Islam Bangladesh, Vice President of Al Hayatul Ulaya, Senior Vice President of Befaqul Madarisil Arabia Bangladesh and Shaykhul Hadith and General Director of Jamia Madania Baridhara Dhaka and Jamia Sobhania Mahmud Nagar. He has played a leading role in the Hefazat movement, including the Khatme Nabuyat movement, etc., and is well known among the Muslim masses as an Islamic leader. He is also involved in the management of some 45 madrasas.
Nur Hossain Kasemi was born on January 10, 1945 in a town called Chadda at the Manoharganj Police Station in the Comilla District.
As a result of her father’s fervent desire and immense talent, she moved to Darul Uloom Deoband, a world-renowned college of higher education. But he was admitted to Beritajpur Madrasa in Saharanpur district because he could not arrive at the scheduled admission time. There it was read Jalaline Jamaat. He first came to the country and joined Nandansar Muhius Sunnah Madrasa from Naria Police Station in Shariatpur district as Shaykhul Hadith and Muhtamim. Then in 1966, he joined the Faridabad Madrasa in Dhaka.
He served Darul Iqama for a long time in Faridabad. Then in 1972, Kazi Mutasim Billah moved to Rah. He established Jamia Shariah in Malibagh. Here Tirmizi very skillfully donated Sharif’s dars. After teaching here for six years, he served at Jamia Madania Baridhara, a traditional educational institution with great qualifications and hard work, from 1986 to date and Shaikhul Hadith and Muhtamim of Jamia Subhania since 1996.
Politics:
In 1975, he joined the politics of Jamiat Ulama Islam Bangladesh. In 1990, he became Jamiat’s central leadership and on November 8, 2015, he became Secretary General.
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other party leaders have expressed their condolences for Kasemi’s death. Amir Allama Junaid Babungari from Hefazat-e-Islam, Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim from Charmonai, the coordinator of the 20-party alliance Nazrul Islam Khan and the chairman of the Labor Party, Dr. Mostafizur Rahman Iran, also expressed their condolences.
