The Police Investigation Bureau (PBI) has been able to unravel the mystery of Fatema Akter’s murder after four months in Araihazar, Narayanganj. Younus Ali, the main culprit in the murder, has been arrested.
Narayanganj District Police Superintendent Mohammad Ali said at a press conference on Saturday afternoon (December 12) after the arrest of her boyfriend Younus Ali from the mountainous area of Jaintapur on the Indian border in Sylhet. Monirul Islam.
Police Superintendent Monirul Islam told reporters that Fatema Akter lived in the home of Mama Ilias Mollah in Manikpur of Araihazar upazila. The defendant Yunus Ali lived in the house next to him. He came to the country in February this year after living in exile in Malaysia for 9 long years. At that time, Fatima’s grandmother used to call Yunus at home under various pretexts. At one point, Yunus Ali fell in love with Fatima. This relationship takes the form of a physical relationship.
The love story between Yunus and Fatima is known to the people of the two houses. Meanwhile, Yunus changed houses and moved to a new one in Araihazar Bishnandi Vengla. From that moment, he started looking for a girlfriend from his house to marry. But Fatima pressured him to get married when she found out she was pregnant and wanted to see a girlfriend for Yunus. But Yunus did not agree to the marriage.
On the afternoon of August 10, Yunus called Fatima on her mobile phone. After visiting different places, Yunus left Fatima in her new home and went home. He left the house around 2 pm and had sex with Fatima. At one point, he suffocated and killed him.
Later, Fatima’s body was buried in the sand-filled VT of the house under construction in Dalim, which was surrounded by trees. The next day, Dalim, the owner of the house under construction, and his mother asked Sharifa when they would cook the VT. If money is needed, he will give them money.
On August 15, while working on the house, Dalim smelled bad from the VT and saw the half rotten body of the victim as he scooped up the sand with a shovel. When the locals were informed, the locals informed the police. Later, the police arrived at the scene and sent the body to the morgue and began the investigation by registering a case against the unidentified defendant.
PBI carried out an hour-long operation in the mountainous area of the Bangladesh-India border from the Jaintapur Police Station in Sylhet on 8 October and arrested the defendant Younus Ali using advanced technology. Subsequently, on 10 December, they raided the area of the Araihazar police station in Narayanganj with the accused and recovered the shovel with which they buried Fatima’s body in the sand.
According to Yunus, Fatima used her mobile phone, SIM, national identity card, necklace, earrings, handbag and scarf from the Gopaldi Bazar Gazipura bridge to the Haridoa river. However, an attempt was made to rescue the merchandise by carrying out an operation in that place but it was not possible.
