The United States Supreme Court dismisses the appeal

Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin sued in support of President Donald Trump, declaring the results invalid.

These four are among the states where Democratic candidate Joe Biden won the November presidential election.

Texas attorneys general and 107 Republican congressmen backed the case, according to the BBC.

On Friday, the Supreme Court justices dismissed the case in a short order. They say that Texas has no legal basis to sue.

The Supreme Court of the United States now has more conservative justices. However, such a decision would be a major blow to Trump, observers say.

A few days ago, the Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit filed against Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania.

Since the election, Trump has consistently claimed that the vote was rigged without any evidence. He says he cannot run for a second term due to “invalid voting.”

Trump and his supporters have filed dozens of lawsuits in various courts, but none of them have benefited.
