According to Indian media reports, the police took the minor bride to the police station after informing the bride’s family. But in the midst of all this, the groom gave the child the vermilion. The police administration has admitted the minor to the center for a medical examination.
Meanwhile, the police brought the older sister, but on the other hand, the groom appeared at the bride’s house with one of his relatives. Then the bride’s younger sister was forcibly taken away to marry. When the news reached the police again, they conducted a search operation and rescued the kidnapped girl.
Police also arrested a relative who helped the boyfriend. However, the groom escaped. The police have filed a case against the groom under the Kidnapping and Child Marriage Act.
