Police have recovered the hanging body of a pregnant girl from a village in Sherpur Sadar Upazila. The girl whose body was recovered was 14 years old. She was an eighth grade student at a local school. Police recovered a Tirkut from him while recovering the body.
The note written to the mother indicates the cause of the child’s death. According to the letter written to the mother, the girl fell in love with a young man named Rashed (20). Speaking of marriage, Rashed had a physical relationship with the girl. The girl became pregnant. Since then, Rashed continued to avoid the girl. Due to this arrogance, he committed suicide and blamed Rashed for the suicide.
Police said the girl’s parents divorced a few years ago. From then on, the girl was studying from her grandmother’s house. The girl had not been found since Thursday afternoon. Later that night, his relatives found him hanging on the wall of a house with a rope tied around his neck. After receiving the news, Sadar police recovered his body around 8 pm Thursday and seized the suicide note written on the newspaper’s page.
