Awami League leader Moslem Madbar said the last span of the Padma Bridge was laid on Thursday at noon. After that, ordinary people come to Padmapara in the Naodoba area of ​​Jajira upazila of Shariatpur to see from different areas including Dhaka. There is joy in them. There is a flood of happiness even among the local population.

Asaduzzaman Ripon said: “When we learned that the last section of the Padma Bridge had been installed after giving up the ancestral lands to the Padma Bridge; So we have no more sadness in our minds. Visitors have been seen coming and rejoicing since Friday morning.

Jazira Upazila Nirbahi’s official, Ashrafuzzamal Bhuiyan, said that the socioeconomic condition and livelihoods of the southwest region will change as the Padma Bridge is a dream. The people of Padmapara have a lot of passion and love involved in this bridge. As the bridge is fully visible, there are a crowd of people and visitors in Padmapara.
