The bloody body of Arya Bandyopadhyay, a Bollywood actress, has been recovered from a flat in Jodhpur Park, Kolkata. Police recovered his body on Friday, the Hindustan Times reported.
According to local police, her maid went to work at Aria’s house today as usual. The maid got no answer even after calling him many times. Later, when in doubt, the maid herself informed the local police station. Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the scene.
Police went and found Aria Bandyopadhyay’s flat locked inside the building in Jodhpur Park of the Lake Police Station. Later the door to the apartment was broken and he entered. Then the cops saw Aria’s bloody body lying on the bed.
Arya Bandyopadhyay’s neighbor, Aditya Chakraborty, said: ‘I’ve known Arya since childhood. I used to come to study my mother. Aria has made two Bollywood movies. There were also named models. But for the past few years he has been living a life without chaos. He also used to misbehave with people in the neighborhood. I couldn’t even show him. The news of his death is certainly painful, but not entirely unexpected. I can’t tell you how to die though.
Arya’s real name is Devdatta Banerjee, the youngest daughter of renowned sitar performer Pandit Nikhil Banerjee. Arya, who has an MA in Hindustani classical music, learned acting at Anupam Kher acting school in Mumbai. Her first Bollywood movie was Divakar Bandyopadhyay’s’ Love Sex Aur Dhoka’ (2010) and the following year she starred in Vidya Balan’s’ Udy Dirty Picture ‘. After that, he was not seen in any other movies.
