A teenage girl has been reported to have committed suicide by writing a letter to her mother in Sherpur Sadar Upazila. Police recovered the girl’s body from a village in upazila on Thursday night.
In this case, the local said. A young man named Rashed (20) has been accused of inciting suicide. Suicide note seized. The girl wrote a letter to her mother on the page of her diary stating the reason for her suicide.
The girl whose body was recovered was 14 years old. She was an eighth grade student at a local school.
According to police sources, the girl’s parents divorced a few years ago. From then on, the girl was studying from her grandmother’s house. The girl had not been found since Thursday afternoon. Later that night, his relatives found him hanging on the wall of a house with a rope tied around his neck. After receiving the news, Sadar police recovered his body around 8 pm Thursday and confiscated the suicide note written on the newspaper’s page.
According to the letter written to the mother, the girl had a love affair with a young man named Rashed. Speaking of marriage, Rashed had a physical relationship with the girl. The girl became pregnant. Since then, Rashed continued to avoid the girl. Due to this arrogance, he committed suicide and blamed Rashed for the suicide.
