The Turkish president said he had spoken with Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Georgia to build regional cooperation. If possible, Armenia will also be there.

He said that Azerbaijan had regained its land. But that does not mean that the conflict is over. The conflict that was in the political and military sphere will now be on the other front.

There are allegations that Erdogan sent troops from Syria to strengthen the Azeri army. As a result, the victory of Azerbaijan has become easier. At least 5,000 people have died in recent clashes.

Recently, an agreement was reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan through the mediation of Moscow. As a result, Armenia had to relinquish control of the Nagorno-Karabakh area, dominated by the Armenians. Even the six districts they occupied after 1990 had to be handed over to Azerbaijan.

Joining the victory celebrations in Azerbaijan, the Turkish president called for a change of government in Armenia. “We are here to celebrate a great victory,” he said.

Erdogan said that regional cooperation with Azerbaijan could be possible if the new government meets certain conditions. It will also open Armenia’s border with Turkey.
