Hundreds of police officers on duty in Comilla’s Brahmanpara by-elections have fallen ill after eating at a local restaurant. The policemen in charge of the by-elections of Brahman for Upazila Parishad ate at the restaurant around 10 o’clock yesterday night.

He said that ’41 people have been admitted to the hospital. Of these, eight are drivers of requisition vehicles. The rest are policemen. One has been sent to Comilla Medical College Hospital.
