21 additional Police Superintendents have been promoted to the position of Police Superintendent (SP). This information has been given in the notification issued by the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of the Interior on Thursday.
The newly promoted Police Superintendents are Additional Superintendent of Police (TR) Sufian Ahmed, Additional Superintendent of Police Nazimul Haque of the Industrial Area Police Unit, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Wahidul Haque Chowdhury, the Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Belayet Hossain attached to the Police Headquarters. Jahangir Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police, School of Police Personnel, HM Farhad Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police, Special Section (SB), Abdullah Al-Mamun, Additional Superintendent of Police, Special Protection and Security Battalion (SPBN), Nurul Amin Hawlader, Additional Superintendent of Police, School of Police Personnel, Crime Additional Superintendent of Police (CID) ASM Shamsur Rahman Bhuiyan, Rangpur Range Reserve Force (RRF) Additional Superintendent of Police Mahfuzzaman Ashraf, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasim Uddin.
