Dhaka: The measles and rubella vaccination program will run from December 12 to January 24 of the new year. During this campaign to eradicate measles and rubella, around 34 million children under the age of 9 months to 10 years will be vaccinated with 1 dose of the MR vaccine throughout the country.

The health minister said that the country has become polio free due to the success of the health sector in Bangladesh, this time measles and rubella will also be free. We vaccinated about ten children. We have been able to make the country polio-free through vaccination. The Prime Minister has been awarded the title of Vaccine Hero due to the success of the vaccination. Now the country has to get rid of measles and rubella.
He said that vaccination is a unique measure in the health sector. Vaccination reduces stress on health, reduces disease. Vaccination has also increased human life expectancy. I have been able to vaccinate 90 percent of the children in the country. We have to take care of the children. Children are our loved ones, parents have a responsibility to make sure they are vaccinated. We can reduce the risk of death in children by vaccinating them.
