A BRAC official died in a traffic accident in Bahubale

A motorcyclist Mamta Rani Sarkar, 35, was killed instantly in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a truck in the Rashidpur Gasfield area of ​​Habiganj’s Bahubal upazila. Her husband Mohit Kumar Sarkar, 40, was seriously injured in the incident. The accident took place around one in the afternoon on Thursday.
According to the police and some eyewitnesses, Mohit Kumar and Mamata Rani worked at the Kamalganj BRAC office. The couple was going to Mirpur in Bahubal upazila from Srimangal in Moulvibazar on a motorcycle around noon today. When his motorcycle reached the Rashidpur area of ​​Bahubal on the old Dhaka-Sylhet road, it collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. Mamata Rani was killed on the spot. Police rescued Mohit Kumar, who was seriously injured in the incident, and sent him to the 250-bed Habiganj District Sadar hospital. Mohit Kumar’s home is in the Pakundia area of ​​Kishoreganj.
The Officer-in-Charge (CO) of the Bahubal Police Station, Mohammad Kamruzzaman, said the accident occurred when a motorcycle and a truck collided head-on. BRAC agent, Mamata Rani, died. Her husband Mohit Kumar was seriously injured in the incident. Mamata Rani’s body has been kept at the Shayestaganj Highway Police Station.
