A case has been brought against Maulana Muhammad Mamunul Haque, leader of the Khilafah Majlis of Bangladesh, under the Digital Security Act, for spreading comments against the sculptures on social media. Earlier on Monday, a sedition case was filed against three people, including Mamunul Haque.

Lawyer Abdul Malek, founder and CEO of the Bangabandhu Foundation, presented the case in the court of Bangladesh Cyber ​​Court judge As Sam Jaglul Hossain on Thursday. The plaintiff in the case has confirmed the information to the media.

Lawyer Abdul Malek said the judge had ordered the case after the hearing.

Earlier Monday, Abdul Malek aka Mashiur Malek, founder and CEO of the Bangabandhu Foundation, filed a sedition case against Maulana Mamunul Haque.

A sedition case was filed against Amir Junaid Babungari of Hifazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, Deputy General Secretary of Hifazat-e-Islam and Bangladeshi leader Khilafah Majlis Maulana Muhammad Mamunul Haque and Naib Amir Syed Faizul Karim of the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh on Monday for making anti-sculpture comments. On the same day, the central president of Mukuljuddha Mancha, Aminul Islam Bulbul, brought a sedition case in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court Satyabrata Sikder.
