Deputy Aslam prevented the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) from conducting an eviction campaign in March last year by identifying the Washpur and Ghatarchar mouzas establishments in Keraniganj and Shyamlapur mouzas in Savar as per court instructions higher. Aslamul Haque filed an appeal petition with the High Court on behalf of the three companies. The three companies are CLC Power Company Limited, Dhaka West Power Limited and Dhaka North Power Utility Company Limited.

The Superior Court ruled on the preliminary hearing of the order on October 22. At the same time, BIWTA was asked to resolve the writ petition within 30 days. In this regard, Aslamul Haque also asked the National Commission for the Protection of the River to carry out a joint survey to determine if the lands it owns are within the limits of Buriganga or Turag. The National River Protection Commission prepared the report on November 9 after hearing, examining and inspecting the MP’s request. The commission made up of eight government agencies conducted the survey.

Manzil Morshed, a lawyer for the National River Protection Commission, presented the commission’s report to the court and requested the rejection of the previous rule. After hearing the rule, it was dismissed and the verdict was delivered today. The judgment establishes that the petitioner’s order claim is a matter of factual debate, so the order is not admissible.
Lawyer Manzil Morshed appeared before the river commission in court, accompanied by lawyer Ripon Barai. Attorney Kamrunnahar Deepa appeared for BIWTA. The lawyer was present at the hearing in favor of the writ petition. Wazi Ullah.
