The newly elected president of the United States, Joe Biden, is showing one surprise after another. This year, the United States was agitated to demand the rights of blacks.

The brutal murder of George Floyd, a young black man, kindled the fire of inequality. Joe Biden has announced that only one black person will have responsibility for the Ministry of Defense in the United States, which is in the middle of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement.

Retired Army General Lloyd Austin will become the new Secretary of Defense. Joe Biden has announced that Lloyd Austin will rule the Pentagon.

Lloyd was chief of the United States Central Command in 2003. Lloyd Austin, an 8-year-old African American, has served in the US Army for more than 40 years.

He graduated from the West Point Military Academy and joined the Army. In March 2003, Lloyd Austin was the assistant division commander for the 3rd Infantry Division.

He later served as commander of the Combined Joint Task Force in Afghanistan until 2005. Lloyd Austin led the US military operation in Iraq. He was the commanding general of the US military in Iraq in 2010. He then retired in 2016.
