Meanwhile, the young woman has been identified as the person responsible for the harassment for smoking in public at the Circuit House. His name is Shahid Hossain Barek (44). He used abusive language and forced the girl to leave the place. The police are looking for the harassed man.
Shahid Hossain Barek is known to have lost his bail after being twice elected councilor of the 6th district of the Rajshahi City Corporation. He was defeated in the elections. He is currently a contractor.
In this regard, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) commissioner Abu Kalam Siddique said that the police are looking for those involved in the incident. The stalker has already been identified. Legal action will be taken against those who have been harassed by the person.
